Alle Free-Alben endlich wieder auf Vinyl

Darauf haben Vinylliebhaber unter den Free-Fans gewartet. Mit »The Vinyl Collection« präsentiert die legendäre britische Rockband 2016 eine 7-LPs-Box, die alle sechs Studioalben der Band enthält, und zwar auf 180 g schweren Vinyls.

Dazu gehören »Tons Of Sobs« (1969), »Free« (1969), »Fire And Water« (1970), »Highway« (1971), »Free At Last« (1972) und »Heartbreaker« (1973). Ein weiteres Highlight der Box ist das Livealbum »Free Live!« aus dem Jahr 1971. Allein vier dieser sieben Longplayer landeten im UK in den Top 10 der Charts.

Für die Wiederveröffentlichung der Alben wurden alle Aufnahmen von Mastering-Engineer Andy Pearce von den Originaltapes neu gemastert.

Diese Box hat es wirklich in sich: »The Vinyl Collection« umfasst alle Alben der britischen Rocklegenden Free in einer LP-Box, und zwar auf 180-g-Vinyl.

The cat# on the back cover of "Free Live" (473 184-1) seems to be incorrect, it's the same as on labels of "Free at Last". The right one (473 187-7) is on the inner sleeve and on the labels.
Also on the back of the box "Fire And Water" has a different track sequence and the cover image is of "Free Live"
